Harry Charlston was appointed to the Town Commission in November 2009. He was elected Chairman of South Martin Regional Utility (the Town's water company) at the July 2010 Town Commission meeting. During the previous five years, Commissioner Charlston served as President of the Hobe Sound Community Chest. His professional career included the founding and managing of Apollo Presentation Products, an international manufacturer of computer and overhead projector products, which was ultimately sold to Fortune Brands. Subsequently, he was Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Columbia University Graduate Business School, where earlier he had received an MBA.
